Charlie Stross@glynmoody I'm seeing reports that the Iranian leadership all got hit in that initial attack because they'd gathered to sign a peace treaty that was on the table. The war started because Netanyahu saw Iran backing down and couldn't resist the opportunity to drag the USA in.
