Iranian frigate #IRIS_Dena was sailing from Vizag after IFR to Cochin port for refueling, when an invasive US SSN ambushed the unsuspecting and possibly unarmed vessel. As the host nation, it was #India's responsibility to protect them until they left India's maritime theater.
Instead, #GoI publicly disowned the stricken vessel in what can only be described as a shameful and dishonorable betrayal of an ally and an abject surrender to a bully that invaded our maritime theater.

Loyalty and consistency is paramount in international relations for the diplomatic success of a mid power like India. GoI's domestic opportunism won't work there. And what were you hoping to achieve? The favor of a self-destructing disloyal superpower? What about Iran's trust in us, leasing us the Chabahar port?
Besides, if you couldn't foresee such treachery from a crooked aggressor in our neighborhood, what's the guarantee that you can protect our territory?
