how do other people attempting to run linux on their apple silicon macs deal with this?

on a related note: why the fuck am i wasting time on the nouveau and amdgpu drivers when this has neither?

@hexchen I gave up after a week. It was just not runnable as a daily driver for me; too many things did just not work (yet) and after the first upgrade the display stack was f*cked and I needed to fix it via ssh only. I now habe a Lenovo device.

@hexchen I just have my own trimmed down kernel config that brings build times wayyyy down; there's also a binary cache by the cachix folks these days
