@tmalsburg You should be - if these types of battery catch fire, e.g. because they are charged the wrong way or there is some internal connection problem...
@abulling The charger has a temperature sensor that starts an alarm at 60Β°C.
@abulling I should actually test that the temperature sensor works as expected.
@abulling The charger has active balancing and I made sure the cells were balanced to begin with (within 0.01V). After 0.5Ah at a rate of 1.5A, the pack seems perfectly cool.
