@asymco Apple’s strategy was forced upon them by their disastrous AI software efforts. Sitting out the model training wars will turn out to be a huge benefit, but there was no genius behind it, it was pure luck.

@shac As a group, the best performing portfolios are those held by estates. Because the owner is dead, no action is taken, thus outperforming the indexes. Hope to be so lucky as to do nothing. In this case I do believe some luck was involved. The wisdom of sitting out manias of idiocy is rare indeed.
