At root, it's 'cuz we're running the beta test Constitution, and deliberately sabotaged it to get the slave states to sign on. That's why 70% of our senators represent 30% of the country. If it were balanced, the first thing Americans would have used their democracy to do is free the slaves, and that couldn't happen. So we ended up with a traditional European feudalism sporting a superstructure of bullshit democracy.

REALISATION
It is a strange feeling when you finally realise that the stuff of the world, generally speaking, "belongs" to a company or billionaire no more or less than it does to you or I.
What is today called "ownership" or "property" is little more than theft or acquisition with menaces that either can or cannot be backed up with violence.
No one actually owns anything and property is a totally made up concept.
On chatgpt.com some prompts will cause it to show you a little embedded map. It's OpenStreetMap data via mapbox.
I notice they do not give any on-screen credit to OpenStreetMap or even Mapbox (Not even hidden behind an "i" icon)
It's almost as if they don't respect copyright.
