Her most famous creation is a follow-up to "Sir Les Patterson". Gadsby's "Sir Keir #Starmer" is an opportunist who sells fake sincerity with all the charisma of mouldy bread. But the fiction got out of hand, and Conservative implosion left Starmer as Prime Minister.

Gadsby's comic career ended, as her character crossed the #FouthWall. Gadsby is now humiliated to act the Sir Keir character 24/7, seven days per week.

To end her servitude, #Gadsby tried to kill off her own character. But as #ReggiePerrin found before her, it was harder than she feared.

Exposing #Starmer's lies didn't stop him.

Freezing grannies didn't depose him.

Nor did starving kids. Or slashing development aid. Or climbing up Trump's posterior.

Even getting Sir Keir to appoint #Epstein's best mate as top diplomat wasn't fatal.

So Gadsby is living a #GroundhogDay existence, unable to escape the #Starmer life.
