Firehorseart Lives!Trustees / board members need to occasionally take part in community events, so that they're more visible and approachable.
That was my issue when I did community engagement for a charity. It was eventually solved by the events being run at a cafe just after the trustee meetings.
Also trustees / stakeholders need to respond to feedback, rather than just talk about it privately.
That's a really good point and a great solution to move the events closer to the trustee meetings!
