Recent events in the Middle East mean many citizens need a safe route back to Europe.

Here is what we are doing to help, through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism:

🔹 We are helping EU countries organise repatriation flights.
🔹 6 flights have already brought citizens back to 🇧🇬, 🇮🇹, 🇦🇹, and 🇸🇰.
🔹 We are planning more flights over the coming days to help even more people return home.

The safety of Europeans is always our first priority.

@EUCommission Are seats going to be assigned based on whether they were in Dubai as your employees, working for NGOs, doing science/archeology or whatever OR just evading taxes/running an "influencer" scam or pimping young women? Asking for a taxpayer.

@ginkka @EUCommission The microscopic violin we're all playing for them can get even tinier, considering the the Netherlands is one of the tax pirates where corporations like Decathlon et al go to not pay OUR taxes. 🤏🎻
