@capeta @GossiTheDog I think this is technically true, but if I have an alternative view then I’ll take it. IMO the international conversation should be led back to a productive footing, by everyone involved.

@capeta @GossiTheDog you’re missing my point. stop hyper-focusing in the US for a second, and consider that someone has to argue against! I’m politically active in Germany, and I would very much like to see the federal govt take a stronger stance vs US, but I have other goals/projects to achieve - that also concern this situation. you can’t achieve anything in politics without compromise and pragmatism. i’m not throwing fuel into this fire.

@splinux @GossiTheDog can’t agree. if you don’t generalize reputation, it gets more complicated… Europe was relatively okay with Biden. some of our right-wingers like Trump. most others don’t, imo.
