@mgoggie @cstross everybody reacts like that, not just young people… last year I got covid, bad, at a trade show. Told one of my colleagues and he had that exact same reaction: “wait, Covid is still around?”

At least in Germany, the COVID prevalence _is_ drastically lower than it has ever been since the initial year. So it's not surprising that people get careless.

Me :1968 pertussis sequelæ ; several brushes with TB ; I *know* how badly Rabies prophylaxis hits me, and get refreshers when appropriate.

Reminds me to check the Anthony Nolan (leukaemia, bone marrow) database has the right address for my immune profile.
