Fake it for the votes

Sure, sure - so who are the Lemmyleft promoting instead?

. . .

It . . . you have to have someone. To, y’know, recieve the votes.

. . . Anyone? There’s a big thing happening in a couple of years. I’m told these things need to be planned out or something.

Since when is

you must already have a candidate

A reason to say a terrible politician is terrible?

Since that’s all it has ever been. Biden’s terrible, Harris is terrible, Schumer and Jeffries are beyond terrible - yeah, great, got it. What’s the plan then?

All I ever get are non-sequitur rants about seizing the means of production and incorrect assertions about the elections process from people who have never lived in the US. That is - by itself, with nothing ever else appearing - less than worthless.

Wild how often it’s the case of dems in power being terrible.

Also so does that mean we can’t say trump/putin/bibi is terrible without specifying an alternative?

I see some love for AOC (but also insta-damnation if dog forbid she hews incorrectly), Mamdani got a lot of love (for a city mayor) at least until he made the fatal error of crossing a SocDem, and Bernie gets love. But that’s it. 99.8% of Democrats are the worst, most evil fascists under the sun according to their support base. If you believe that.

Is it any wonder they look to the center for support when it gets close to election time?

For the first 100 slams, no those are free. After that you have to have something else besides a big bag of bitching. But only for trump, unless you’re voting in the israeli or russian election.

Which, sometimes I wonder if some of the commenters are.

Mamdani fell out of favor?
Mamdani Distances Himself From Democratic Socialists’ National Agenda
