Testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Noem denied that Corey Lewandowski had any role in approving contracts. But internal DHS records and interviews with current and former agency staffers contradict her testimony.

@ProPublica Those angry that "lied" was not used here do not understand how law works. "Lie" is an allegation which must be provable by verifiable evidence in a court of law, in case you're challenged on it. Short of that, it's an invitation to potentially costly lawsuit. Ask Gawker about that. While public figures are much more vulnerable to accusation, legally, accusers must still be prepared to back up claims with evidence.

Those about to argue about this also don't know how evidence works.
