Regarding the hotel in Minneapolis that was refusing to provide rooms to DHS agents (although it said it was backing down after backlash from MAGA and Hilton Hotels):

This was posted on the Hilton Newsroom account on X. (No, I don't have an account there. An article provided the link to specific post where this was posted. I'd seen it elsewhere but wanted to confirm this was real before sharing.)

I've now written to HiltonHonors@Hilton.com — the one email I was able to get for Hilton — to express my disgust with its action; I don't want its hotels to be a "welcoming place for all" when that includes DHS agents. You could also call: +1-888-4HONORS

Hilton🚨said Tues it's dissolving its relationship with a MN hotel that sparked backlash from the #DHS for denying fed IMM agents from booking accommodations.

The indep hotel owner had assured us that they'd fixed this problem & pub a msg confirming this. A recent video clearly raises concerns *not meeting our stands & values (?)‼️

HHS authorized to resume sharing some personal Medicaid data with deportation officers

The nation’s health department can resume sharing the personal data of certain Medicaid enrollees with deportation officials. That's after a ruling by a federal judge last week and comes as an earlier temporary order blocking the data sharing expires Monday. The decision marks a blow to states that had sued the administration over privacy concerns. The judge’s decision last week strictly limited the scope of data from the 22 plaintiff states that can be shared. For now it only allows the agency to hand over basic biographical information about immigrants residing in the United States illegally.
