GrapheneOS: Talks shit about Fairphone and their 'ancient' hardware on socials, not considering them as an option at all.

Also GrapheneOS: Partners with Motorola/Lenovo despite more devices in their lineup having relatively mediocre chipsets than not.
i was looking up Motorola's offerings after the announcement, and for some reason Razr 60 Ultra has the same price as Galaxy S25 Edge with better specs in almost every aspect (apart from Razr having bigger refresh rate of the display)
@[email protected] Yeah, they have a couple flagships, and nothing else they offer (Moto G, G Play, G Power, G Stylus) has near as good hardware.

I just think it's funny considering their past shit-flinging, 'cause I think it would be very silly of them to stick to the flagships. I don't think they're near as popular as Moto's other offerings.
i think it would be really interesting if Lenovo/Motorola would release another ThinkPhone as a part of this collaboration
@[email protected] If only any carriers in my region gave a shit about Motorola in the first place
I wanted that last ThinkPhone, but nobody had it, and I couldn't buy it direct until it was obsolete.
i am eternally thankful that we here in Ukraine don't have this bullshit with carriers selling phones
though it still manages to plague second-hand markets, i have a Verizon Pixel 4 as my Google Pay phone and also a Verizon Galaxy S4 laying around
@[email protected] No kidding. Carrier-branded and locked phones are a blight. Thank fuck Canada's regulatory board made SIM locking against the law nearing a decade ago.

...and they've done not much of substance since.
