For the first time in at least a decade I've been keeping track of my workouts rather than just going and doing them and remembering my prior weights and sets/reps (do something for 20+ years and your brain adapts).

Thanks to @UpLiftingApp I now know that every day I lift I move over 10k lbs 😮 🤯

My right shoulder hurts just thinking about it. Although that might be from my heavy lift day today too. 🤷

@gairdeachas @UpLiftingApp WOOF! Very nice! That's amazing that you weren't really tracking things before, this is something I've always been used to doing.

@motoridersd Honestly, I'd rather not have my phone with me at the gym. It's too easy to get distracted and waste time. And too often I'm waiting on some equipment from some human (usually a guy) who is sitting there watching YouTube or scrolling IG which makes me hate phones at the gym even more.

I've been able to use @UpLiftingApp in a pure record-keeping format where I finish a superset (or maybe two), pick up the phone to log it, put the phone down, and continue with my workout.

@gairdeachas @UpLiftingApp yeah I get it. I have my phone but a tracking app with a timer that will let me know when resting periods are over is helpful for me to snap out of any distraction I might be having, sometimes it's the phone, sometimes it's eye candy.
