My manager isn't sure exactly when on Friday that my work account access will cut off (5p UTC is a distinct possibility given where the company is located) and with luck maybe I'll have the whole day off.
Either way he's on-site at a customer tomorrow and Friday so we had a 30 minute off-boarding meeting today and that's probably the last I'll talk to him. He said nice things about me and that I'm always welcome back -- both of which I appreciated. I work very hard not to burn bridges.

Despite dropping a 100lb dumbbell on it yesterday, my shoulder seems fine if sore. This morning it feels like someone punched me really hard in the delt -- ow.
Honestly I'm shocked at how "ok" it is given what happened.
Anyhow, I was able to get through most of my arm & shoulder workout on the cable machine (so easy to bail from if something felt off) with the exception of dips which the injured shoulder said was Right Out.
Let's assume you don't sportsball (because I don't).
Where is the transfer portal that opens in Michigan terminating and what does that have to do with 2027?
Fun answers only.
I pushed one rep too far on my dumbbell bench press and had a sudden failure on my right arm and effectively dropped the 100lb dumbbell on my right deltoid before it went over my shoulder onto the floor.
Luckily no one was injured and I was able to keep the left arm + dumbbell close to my chest and not add additional insult to injury.
The right shoulder is unhappy and there's already a bruise forming. I'm hoping it's a bruised muscle and I didn't do any structural damage.
