I switched from #Debian to #Mint. Audio seems more stable.

Mint seems pretty good so far.

@oblate What problem did you have with Audio?

Is it the (Cinnamon) Desktop Environment which you linked on Mint?

@Pandya It sometimes detects HDMI, sometimes doesn't.

Very frustrating, because sometimes logging out and in again fixes the issue, sometimes I need to reboot.

Linux seems to have a smorgasbord of sound systems. The Linux approach seems to be to add yet one more layer.

I can see why people consider the BSDs as a more engineered approach.
