Rev. Trevors is pretty upset by this blatant act of cruelty, rightly so. Two notes. (1) Trevors is right when he says "Cruelty is the point". That's been obvious for a while. (2) Rev Trevors spoke of the indifference at work here. It reminded me that Eli Wiesel (and others) have spoken on this - "The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference."
