Does anyone know a good website that shares screencaps like ScreenMusings (RIP)? I want to explore more storytelling and atmosphere for my art, and Shotdeck is too expensive for my broke a$$
@fayden
You can try https://www.cap-that.com. It's limited, but it should be enough. If you have access to the actual movie files, that would be better, of course.

@ddnnacheta It's perfect, enough for my needs, thanks a lot!
@fayden You're welcome. Glad you find it useful.
@fayden @ddnnacheta Ok, I'm asking from a place of ignorance. What's that supposed to be? Just some random frames from a movie?
What are they good for?
I guess they might hold some value, as someone bothered to make a whole service dedicated to that, but what are they for?
@ThePowerfulJohnny @ddnnacheta I use screencaps since last week to study how filmmakers handle composition, lighting, color, and visual storytelling. It's full of good shots, so looking at specific frames helps me understand how scenes guide the viewer’s eye, frame characters, and create mood. It’s like a reference library
