I mailed some 35mm film off to the lab today and I took a picture of the receipt with the tracking number and I just touched the tracking number by accident and it opened a web browser with the tracking info on postal service page. Nice. I planned on going back and forth between the photo app and the usps tracking app to copy the tracking number between the two. Super nice and handy. This is the type of ai I can get behind
effika@Chaotic_stegosaurus this was possible long before AI! Optical character recognition and a few templates can do this, and did on my phone well before AI was on it
In fact, your phone may not have used any AI at all. You can continue hating it 😃
