I feel genuinely sad for him — not with pity, just empathy. Same here: I'm also very grateful I grew up with Army of Darkness. One of my favorite movies as a kid. I later watched the other movies as a teen and young adult. I think keeping his memory, work/art, and memes alive and sharing them is important. 1/2

@enriquericos 2/2 There is not much else a fan can do besides visiting, maybe a comic convention or something, which is also not accessible for people outside the US. Maybe creating an art piece as a homage or something like that and sharing it with him… There isn't much more that fans can do, I guess :D
