And to be fair, speedrunning as a hobby is different. I love speedrunners!

But thinking we all need to treat every entertainment object as something to complete asap is really just sad to me :[ I’m glad they were saying this in 1989!

@splendorr i used to be like this initially, then i realized these rules did not spark joy, and changed the rules.

getting truly lost in a game is a blessing. because you went through, it is easier to leave behind.
