Morning Mastodonians!

We watched another #movie from the New York Times' top 100 #movies of the 21st century. This time it was the brutal Whiplash, number 60 on the list. My feelings about this movie are divided. I can appreciate the artistry and intensity, but it was a tough story to watch. Very much like TÁR and Black Swan, about an artist facing incredible pressures. Both Miles Teller and JK Simmons were tremendous. But it was hard to watch, and I am in no hurry to watch it again.

I had a pretty good morning in net, even though we lost 5-3. I didn’t really have much of a chance at any of the goals, including one I didn’t see at all. And I made some nice saves, including a good one with my right pad down in the right place. I’m still working on that, but I’m getting better. It was incredibly cold at the rank. I guess they are having boiler problems. My hands are just now beginning to thaw out.

Other than that, not much planned for #today. I am in the office because they are offering free pizzas for employee appreciation day. I don’t miss a free lunch! I will get home around 2 PM and maybe have time to take the dogs for a walk. Despite the chill yesterday, we did go for one. And my evening activity will be to continue our Baldur's Gate play. We haven’t made it to the city yet, but I think it will be our next destination.

Be safe. Wash your hands. Watch your distance. Wear your N95 mask. Vaccinate! Boost!
