Apple's euro pricing isn't fun, either. That's a lot of money just to get a high refresh output you can find from a third party for pennies these days. That's a shame

@stroughtonsmith absolutely insane. I was hoping for a standard studio display with high refresh rate for about the same price (~1.8k) (which is also insane to me).

@stroughtonsmith The whole rollout is insulting to me. This is what the Studio Display update should have been, but they doubled the price and kept the old one around without a price cut

@stroughtonsmith not only that, you need a Mac with >= M4 or an iPad > M5 for to have 120HZ. Also macOS Tahoe/iPadOS 26.3.1 at least.

@kikeenrique presumably that's a Thunderbolt thing. 5K@120 is a lot of bandwidth
