In the Republican primary, Incumbent Senator John Cornyn faces challenges from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and Congressman Wesley Hunt.
The election will proceed to a runoff if no candidate receives more than 50% in the primary.

ProScience 🇪🇺Although hardly anything surprises me anymore, I don't expect Paxton to come out as the winner.
I have no idea who will win the Republican Texas Senate primary, but it will be fascinating, and somewhat terrifying, to watch.
It's a race of the most terrible, but it could be an indicator that enough Hispanics/Latinos woke up and smelled the coffee.
