Elly Schlein e Maurizio Landini tornano sullo stesso palco per parlare di lavoro. Un tema che passa anche dal votare No al referendum, secondo i due segretari ospiti della Cgil di Torino. “Non è davvero una riforma della giustizia, ha un altro scopo, ce lo dice il governo – spiega Schlein – il vero scopo è indebolire l’autonomia della magistratura che non tutela i magistrati ma i diritti di tutti i cittadini”. Un esempio: “Solo magistrati indipendenti assicurano che la legge valga per tutti e dunque che un magistrato non abbia timore di rilevare una violazione della legge quando la fa un ricco o un potente come ad esempio una multinazionale che sfrutta i rider”. Un tema sul quale anche il segretario della Cgil concorda: “Il principio di autonomia e indipendenza vuol dire avere magistrati che non hanno paura a scontrarsi anche con le multinazionali ma che difendono la legge per tutti, a prescindere da chi si ha di fronte”.

A theme that also passes through voting No to the referendum, according to the two secretaries hosted by the CGIL of Turin. “It’s not really a reform of the judiciary, it has another purpose, the government tells us – explains Schlein – the real purpose is to weaken the autonomy of the judiciary, which does not protect judges but the rights of all citizens.” An example: “Only independent judges ensure that the law applies to everyone and therefore that a judge does not fear to detect a violation of the law when it is committed by a rich or powerful entity, such as a multinational that exploits riders.” A theme with which the CGIL secretary also agrees: “The principle of autonomy and independence means having judges who are not afraid to clash with multinationals but who defend the law for everyone, regardless of who they are facing.”
