I have #glasses. 👓 🤓 My current pair are nice frames, but the lenses themselves are battered & scratched to hell (I'm very clumsy 🤦‍♀️ ).

Is there any good/cheap way to just get the lenses replaced? 🤔 I could ask the local optician where I brought them, but I wonder if, in our modern internet age, there's some “post you glasses here, and we'll fit new frames” service? 🤔

@ebel depending on your optician they may fit new lenses for just the cost of the lenses, though most have started charging to re-use frames (€30-60). Online places are typically of the, so cheap might as well just buy new ones, variety

@chebe yeah I figured the opitican would do it. i'm just afraid of a stupid €100 fee on top or something.

@ebel just clarify up front, and think about all you're saving by not getting a new frame :D
