What plants are you growing? And what is the decorative stirng in the picture? All I can think of is a walking dead style zombie warning system, lol.
@jennifer Shown in the photo is a mix of caliente mustard, forage peas, field beans, lupins and phacelia, the pic is from October last year.
Atm the same area has broad beans, field beans and forage peas. When spring arrives I'll be planting a mix of edible crops and cut flowers :)
The string definitely looks post-apocalyptic! My parents made it out of nespresso coffee pods as they thought it would be fun, it's intended to be a pigeon scarer
I wonder if that would work to deter deer too.
One jumped right into my garden last year and ate most of the green bean plants 😩 I'm going to make my fence taller and I've read that a double fence keeps them from jumping but I don't really have the space to make my fence area 3 feet deep. My garden is surrounded by wildflowers and I don't want to destroy them but I wouldn't be opposed to stringing something that through the flowers. Thanks for the inspiration!
