@Wintermute_BBS What specific ManjaroArm image did you use to boot on this machine? I tried to update mine many moons ago unsuccessfully. Thanks!

@nop it`s the "generic" one you can download from the Manjaro ARM website.

It works with the download image installed, but once you update the packages to latest you will get a grey screen a second after the login screen shows up and then the machine freezes.

They (Manjaro ARM) say they can't fix it as none of their maintainers has an original Pinebook A64 anymore (https://oldbytes.space/@Wintermute_BBS/112709829908577480 ) which is a lousy excuse in my opinion: if they wanted, they sure could get one donated.

That`s why I am currently evaluating DietPi and Armbian for a lack of better alternatives.
