This tough girl lives with her family on the golf course in Ayamonte, Spain. She's a Muscovy duck; I'm tempted to think she's a female, but of course, I can't be sure. There were four of them in a row. The male was in front, I think, and she was in second. Behind them were two youngsters, already quite large. She sat quietly in the sun with her family, until I finished photographing her. Is she truly beautiful or utterly hideous? In any case, I thought she was the most photogenic of the four, with her crest and red head.
