I'm going to assume that this is true. That the IDF-USA has assassinated a major section of Iran's leadership.

1. Doing this, and without even a declaration of war, seems like a new development in the "international rules based order".

2. Iran has probably compartmentalised and probably has succession in place. So they will probably continue to react.
