I've switched from Chrome to Vivaldi, and set up and started using Proton.

What I'm looking for this #DIDay is an alternative to Google Tasks and Keep.

Does anyone have something they like for a task-list that would integrate with a calendar, and shareable lists?

[Update: I'm moving both AnyType and a shared doc in Proton Drive to replace shopping lists in Google Keep into the beta testing phase by sharing with one of my kids.]

@ElwoodCity
I'm also interested in recommendations for Google Keep.
Google reminds me of Borg cybernetic implants that are hard to remove once you've been assimilated. But resistance is not futile.
I'm trying to convince my family to standardize on Proton to share calendars and storage to share photos, and Signal can replace Chat. A replacement for Keep means we can continue to share lists for gift suggestions, to-do lists and other notes.

A Reddit group - r/degoogle - recommends Quillpad as a very close replacement for Keep. Reviews on Google Play (I'm an Android user) are mostly positive. Might test this out.

One interesting feature of this is that it didn't ask me to set up an account - it just let me start in with building a shopping list.

With no account, it makes sense that they won’t be collecting any data, and thus can't share any data with third parties.

One thing I like about Keep is that you can share a list, and it shares access so collaborators can add items or tasks to the list. The share feature on Quillpad is essentially a copy/paste feature that shares content but not access.

Sharing is important to us as well. I'll keep looking...

This looks like it'd be fine for some use cases, notably for anyone who keeps their Keep to themselves...
