I dont see the issue, obviously they’ll just pull themselves up by their bootstraps and win the war, it was easy back in their day so it’ll be easy for them now. Kids today are just lazy

No doubt. In response to such a joke, boomers would take credit for a time when the military was successful. My reply is an attempt to preemptively take the wind out of their sails.

What do you mean? Vietnam was successful at destroying free press so no conflict after it would ever show the people the true horrors of war.
