Looks like AirDrop broke with the latest macOS upgrade. I'd never used the Image Capture app on the Mac to drag & drop files from my iPhone to my Mac, but this is a temporary quick fix when attaching a USB-C cable.

@gallaugher I thought AirDrop has always been periodically broken.😏

Reboot both sides - twice, change allowed to “Everyone” and back to “Contacts" , turn bluetooth off and on again (make sure you have a wired mouse if it's a desktop), do a special dance ... suddenly AirDrop will start working again.

@gallaugher is there any place to report or check the list of issues in a version? Like for Apple Watch, the Bluetooth for headphones seems to be broken. Headphones get disconnected after few minutes and only way to reconnect is to restart the watch.
