An impromptu shutdown last night forced me onto Firefox 148, and the Block AI Enhancements feature - or rather, how Firefox has implemented it - doesn't inspire confidence. It's not just a toggle; it's also this little "Please don't turn off the AI enhancements we worked so hard to bring you" pop-up that stands between me and turning off these enhancements nobody asked for. It's clear they still plan to implement AI features in Firefox, in spite of their users not actually wanting them.
To be honest, I've been waiting for an opportunity to switch to Zen Browser (the only Firefox-based alternative to Firefox I'm interested in) for a while now, and this might be what pushes me over the edge.
