I guess while I'm smoothly patching production #oas and stewing about the non-production patching I did two weeks ago that was anything but smooth, I'll vent about #oracle's latest #enshittification moves. They recently updated their support website, which was a huge cluster fuck.

Among the things that screwed me personally at work:

- You know those favorite pages you had? Whoops, they're gone now. Want to find them again? Well, we changed the KB IDs so good luck finding them in our own shite search. Better off using a Google search.

- So our CPU page said nothing about a bug in the latest PSU patch. Better Google that too to find the workaround.

Co-workers have had their own issues with patching databases due to this Oracle fuckery. I really would like Larry Ellison to trip into a volcano. This is the least of the reasons why, but it is part of a very long list of why he and his company are scum.
