Does anyone have a quick fix for #JAWS in Microsoft #Teams chats reading chat replies out of order?
Whenever anyone replies to someone on my wife's work chat and she's moving through the messages, JAWS says "begin reference,", reads the original message, and then the reply.
She wants the reply first, then the original message afterward.
It's a 30 second job using NVDA's regular expression support in a speech dictionary with the application dictionary addon, of course.
How do other JAWS users cope on Teams in busy chats like this? If you have 3 or 4 replies to a message you end up having to suffer through the original message time and time again.
@cachondo Yeah, I don't have an easy answer to this one. It's painful, and I'd love a way to change this as well. If you send the message above the quoted text rather than underneath it, which Teams does by default when replying to a message, it will read it in the order she wants, but of course that requires the sender to do it that way
@CallumStoneman @cachondo Oh how I wish I had a solution to this. I fed it back to Microsoft’s enterprise answer desk a year or two ago, but nothings come of it.
