I'm looking for resources - ideally books/papers - on the ergonomics of furniture design.

I'm specifically interested in the squishy stuff. Sofas, couches, beds, that kind of thing, not desk chairs, which seem to be well-studied.

I can't find much, any pointers would be very welcome. Thanks!

But from the look of it, this is mostly focused on dimensions of things, as opposed to the more functional aspects of ergonomics. That stuff must be out there somewhere...

@jarkman hmm not sure I quite understand what it is your asking for in that case.
@samvaliant Things like comfortable pressures on the body, choices around softness and thickness of materials, designing to allow multiple postures, that kind of thing.
