The Terms of Service and vernissage.photos instance rules have been revised, and the actions mentioned in the quoted post are no longer permitted.

@[email protected] what is the test to decide, if an image is real or generated? Trusting the users?
@Life_is Users can report posts as spam. Moderators can then delete the posts if they determine that the photo is AI-generated. They can also warn the author and block the user if the situation repeats.
@[email protected] yes, but how do users and admins decide, if a "foto" is really a foto. Most images with hands with six fingers are fake (unless it is a medical condition). Nearly all images with seven fingers are fake. But this still says nothing about five or four fingers. Most real people have five fingers or less. And today nearly no generated image still has more than five fingers, or more than two legs or knees. It has been a (likely still unsolved) problem for years now to decide, what is real and what is fake. There is CAI and c2pa, but it hasnt been adopted widely?
@Life_is However, most of the content generated by AI is quite obvious. It’s enough if the ones that stand out the most disappear from the timeline. If something can’t be distinguished, there’s nothing I can do about it.
