Nolan LawsonFinding myself getting tired of online discourse. If you read a book or a magazine or see a live show, nobody's trying to nag or cajole you or draft you into some online war of ideas; it's just you engaging with the art and the artist. Especially with how robotic the internet is becoming lately, I think live performances, zines, etc are due for a comeback.
Jed Schmidt@nolan i want to believe this, but the audiences at live shows i’ve been to recently have been pretty rude (constantly recording, talking, singing along). have to go back to japan to get quiet audiences, haha.
@jed Good point, I've heard this about live music too, although it's been forever since I went to a show. I've been mostly going to dance performances / musicals where the average age seems close to 50 or 60, so none of the problems you're talking about. 😆
