When I first got my #SteamDeck I came close to returning it. I tried lots of games but nothing clicked. Until #NoMansSky. After some fumbling, and lots of squinting at the tiny text, I have fallen madly in love. This is a nearly perfect game for me. I want to stay on every planet and find all the goodies. I've plopped down bases everywhere. Only now I've "hired" all these cranky, mentally troubled people who keep ordering me around. 1/? #NoMansSkyCommunity #gaming

But every game needs a few irritations. I could happily gather and catalog for hours, and I have. But it ought to lead to something.
Tonight, I found an incredibly beautiful planet I've named Azure, because it has these amazing spotlights shooting out of the ground! And I don't know how to take a screenshot! 2/?

I love how there's something for nearly everyone, and instead of trying to police us all from cheating, the NMS team said, "we're not your mom, play any way you want. In fact, here's a whole control panel so you can even make everything free if you want to. Knock yourself out." Now that's a team who really respects the players.

I think I want to go live on that beautiful blue planet. 3/?
