I got a OnePlus 15 in the mail today…whose idea was it to force the "one" digit in the clock on the AOD to be red? There's not even an option to change it. That combined with the same in the quick settings menu and a "your system is now in optimal condition" message after closing all apps is horrendous UX.

In terms of hardware, the phone is great. But software? Come on, stop adding crap that isn't necessary, is bad for accessibility, and is outright distracting.

@jhpratt no idea who decided that but it's been a long time like that. You get used to it.

@matze I certainly hope so. There's a couple other things like not being able to hide the three-button navigation bar and "close all" simply not closing everything at are nuisances as well. There's a two week return period, so I'll hold onto it for a bit to see how I feel.

I would get the Oppo Find X9 Pro, which looks to be extremely similar to the OnePlus 15, but as far as I can tell it's simply not for sale in the US for whatever reason.

@jhpratt you can hide the navigation bar by ending the advanced gestures (forgot the name) where everything is done via thumb gestures. That one took me some more getting used to.
@matze I don't want that, though. I prefer the three button navigation, which is far faster in my experience.
