So I did a filing with a medium file, then a diamond file, then some 80 grit paper to smooth it out, decent results. I may cut more of the opening out to hold the rope better on pulling but this is workable.
I got a magic ring 6 done, working on the 2nd round with increases. This is very hard though and glad I am using this steel punch now! LOL It is ridiculous, but fun. #crochet #poppintags

@emily_rugburn not sure yet, was thinking an octopus, might just make a big rug looking thing, gotta see how much rope it takes up!
I really just wanted to dink around with chonky rope.
