hey ham radio fedi friends!
would anyone like to make a hf contact with me sometime?
i'm in gridsquare FN42 (Massachusetts, USA) and can do 10-30m in SSB or most of the digital modes in fldigi or wsjt-x

(asking bc i know i've offhand talked about it with some of you before, but i can't remember who)

@flamingspork wanna try and get across the pond? I’m IO81
@whyrlpool i'm down for that
when do you want to try? i'm jobn't, so i'm decently free
@whyrlpool when conditions and local weather agree (can't set up antenna if it's too windy or snowy), i'm usually able to hit the UK/western EU
@flamingspork need to make time for this, am currently snowed under with quests

@whyrlpool hopefully you'll have time eventually

if not, we can make a higher frequency contact if i make it to the UK for EMF :p

@whyrlpool i'm free this weekend if you want to try
(pending weather being good enough to deploy the antenna)
@flamingspork dont think i can do this weekend ;;

@flamingspork

Don't forget the magic #hamr #AmateurRadio #hamradio ...

And sure ... much to my surprise, 90% of my QSOs are now FT8, but I can make exceptions. Look for my alter ego VE3UWY (I have them both).

@flamingspork EN62 here, the way my attic antenna is arranged I usually get good signal to the east coast. Had a really nice contact to Maryland POTA activator a couple days ago.
