Right who wants the story of how @SaintlySin was given a commemorative Wedgwood plate belonging to the grandparents of TV legend Sue Perkins last night?
It's been a good couple of days, not just waking up to a Green win in Gorton and Denton this morning but going to see Sue Perkins on her Eternal Shame comedy tour last night. It was brilliant, and I'd recommend you try and catch her if she's performing near you but it's probably sold out so you can't. The audience was an absolutely lovely crowd composed seemingly entirely of lesbians, people who like cake or lesbians who like cake
She did a bit about being diagnosed with ADHD and @SaintlySin cheered, and from that point on she made a point of doing (very kind and good natured) shout-outs to Charlie whenever she mentioned ADHD leading to the sort of impulse control issues that lead to people randomly shouting things out in comedy shows. We were in absolute stitches and I know I was kind of star struck

@afewbugs @SaintlySin I remember watching Jo Brand doing a bit about public schoolboys and the biscuit game when she asked if anyone had ever played it for real. Someone in the audience had! Derailed the set for about a minute as she suddenly turned into an interviewer before remembering what she was supposed to be doing and getting back on track.

I liked her before, but she definitely went up in my estimation for that.

@pdcawley @afewbugs in my bonkers life I have actually met Jo Brand! She was doing a reading book signing at Birders in Birmingham! Can confirm, absolutely lovely human!
