Tristan Colgate-McFarlane@mjg59 is it fair to suggest that that might be more to do with 25 years of relentless hammering on and working around bugs, rather than actual availability of specs? (saying this as someone that didn't get a laptop to properly resume until about 2010).
@tmcfarlane Well sure, we've spent time becoming compatible with the platform vendors tested against, and Arm suffers from not having any sort of baseline. That doesn't really end up being an argument for DT.
@mjg59 certainly not :) I'm blissfully unaware of Device Tree.
