For the longest time I've been bugging my friend from #Microsoft to see if she can make "remote control the #vscode with #copilot from my phone" happen

This is, in principle, a solved problem. No new tech, no groundbreaking algorithms. Just take the pieces we've had for years and make them kiss. If you know the stack (and the stack is not shite), it's a weekend project

It is so solved that my less lazy friends have been using hand rolled version for ~year

So if there is a corporation that wants to #hire a product person with (what might seem) future prediction capabilities. But is actually just a real user moaning about real world pain, then please ping me.

I will happily tell you what I think about your org grand plans.

Obviously it has been so solved that 3rd parties pop up here and there to offer such solution. e.g: https://vscodemobile.com/#how-it-works

I just hate yet-another-service type of situation & yet-another-subscription for what feels like should just work out of the box.
