This, on top of them shooting down a party balloon a week or so ago, again causing airspace to be closed as they hadn't warned the FAA about the use of the device. The chances of hitting a commercial airliner were quite high in that incident.

The utter incompetence of anyone associated with the current Administration is staggering!
