I mean… you don’t have to be MAGA to hold the opinions that trans women shouldn’t be on the women’s team in competitive sports.

I think it’d be much better to widen the categories and have two extra categories, one for trans men and one for trans women where they can compete.

No matter how open minded and progressive we become, we can’t change the fact that biologically, trans women have an unfair advantage against biological women and trans men have a biological disadvantage against biological men. Ironically, nobody ever talks about that latter part and I think it’s because trans men know they don’t really have a fair chance against biological men while trans women know they have really good odds against biological women. This is also why people get upset about the topic. Of course some people are just braindead bigots, but most people who are against trans women in women’s sports are against it because it is by its nature unfair to biological women that someone who was born a man can come into their sport and easily win gold and break records that were set by biological women for decades.

We just have to accept that biology is not something you can fundamentally change and in the case of sports, it becomes very, very apparent. I have no issue with trans people living their lives and I want them to be at peace with the gender identity that is right for them. Most of the time, biology doesn’t matter, but it does matter if you need to see a doctor or if you want to do competitive sports. I’m sorry, but that’s just how things are. Take it up with evolution or God or whatever you subscribe to.

It is better and safer for everybody, if the gender categories receive two additional categories so trans people can participate in competitive sports. I am very much pro this idea and have been for years. I think it would level the playingfield and it would be fair to everybody. It would also send a signal to trans people that they exist and have a place in competitive sports.

Regarding Trump mocking a hockey team, I haven’t really heard about it since I am tired of American news and need s break from the bs, but it does not at all surprise me that Trump is saying some retarded shit and proving himself to be a hypocrite. I’m also not surprised that his remaining supporters are lacking in morals and consistency. I was told the sky is blue as well. There is no point trying to argue or do gotchas with Trump and his most devout followers. It’s a cult and there is not reasoning with cults.

I am also not a fan of people like the guy in the screenshot who think the world is black or white. To me, that line of thinking is no different than the way MAGA thinks. It is not fair nor is it particularly intelligent to take the group you hate the most and then throw everybody you disagree with into that group to disregard any and all points they have to make on issues where you disagree. You end up closing yourself off to alternative points of views, you never challenge you own stances on anything and broaden your horizon. That is in fact, very very stupid and unproductive. It’s also a MAGA tactic and I don’t think any of us should seek to emulate Trump tactics when we try and talk about issues that have nuance.
